Hello every one ,

I'm modeling flow that is impinging a rotating disk at high temperature. The disk is carrying a substrate at same temp. a structure mesh is used for the model as seen in pics. During the run in fluent, I get troubles in continuity convergence. the residual of continuity rises up with more iterations. Should I improve the mesh further or modify BCs, any hints or suggestions are valuable to me ! thank you in advance

Hello, The continuity equation tends to converge first then the residual error increases until it reaches a maxima before it converges again. Please try to run the case with more iteration and see if it converges again.

Thank you for replying. You are right, with more iterations, the approaching is much better now.

Hello everyone,

I am facing problem in continuity convergence again. This is happened when I increased the pressure inside the reactor to be 400 Torr.

I tried to refine the mesh, pay with under relaxation factors but did not work, Any suggestions please.

Thank you in advanced.
