Apply piezoelectrical properties to Ansys Workbench

Hello everyone,

So I am currently working on a research project relating to study of piezoelectric materials used with laminated composites.

However, when I try to implement my piezoelectric properties in the PiezoAndMEMS add-in in ANSYS workbench it asks for different inputs that I cannot recognize as standard properties usually given for piezoelectrical materials. If llook at the attached picture, what is the translation? What kind of units are Ansys using? (the ones given doesn't make much sense).

I cannot find any help in ANSYS for this. Not in the help overview, or by any other sources. Research papers dealing with similar problems as me do not share much details on how properties are treated, so I guess this should be pretty straightforward when you just know what it is.

I am dealing with the same type of analyses so I know the data scarcity and rather different results you receive from your analyses. Have you solved your problem?

You enter piezo's properties in different sections. You should introduce elastic properties (E and G) in the "engineering data" section. for the electrical properties, you enter them when you introduce "Piezoelectric body". it asks for "e matrix" and permittivity. So you should convert d matrix data to e.
