The pinball size should be 4mm I think ,because if we keep it at 12mm it attaches to the nearby holes(that is what happened when I tried).
4mm seems to be sufficient enough to connect with the nodes.
Though the results were pretty similar with just 1mpa stress higher and .04mm difference in deflection.
Thanks for the comment. It's always good to verify model inputs and test the limits.
Why did you use MPC formulation instead of the beam formulation?
Can you please enlighten me what the difference between the selection would have been?
