hello Ansys experts

I want to ask how can you make a Simulation in which a concrete cylinder is being pressured with a dynamic load (sine function load)

and after a certain period of time because of alot of microcracks to fail

Because i already tried it and it never breaks it just continues to simulate

I have to find out áfter how Long will my model break when it is subjected to a dynamic load

Thank you any advise would help

and the engineering data i used for the hashin damage criteria but no matter how hight the load is the damage status is always 0

i also tried the second one property degradation damage status = 1 but it never seems to break no matter how many steps or no matter how long the simulation is

Hashin failure criteria and evolution is for composite fibre reinforced plastic (frp) laminate materials not for concrete. As we said search for solid65 and concrete.
