Hello.

I'm trying to optimize the wind turbine using genetic algorithm and operate Fluent repeatedly by using TUI(text user interface) such as follows.(I order from Matlab)

      iFluentTuiInterpreter.doMenuCommandToString('solve/dual-time-iterate 7200 20');

However I got error after calculation finished like this´╝Ä

      No error handler abailable

error: cortex recieved a fatal signal (Segmentation violation)

      error: object: ()

The result of first calculation is fine, but second calculation doesn't start because of the error.

When I tried fewer time steps such as 10, and when I calculate directly form fluent(not using TUI code), the error didn't appear.

I don't use UDF.

Does anyone know the solution of this problem?

Thank you for any advices.

Check directly if the error appears if you use TUI command directly from Fluent.

Thank you for the reply.

Now, I try to optimize the wind turbine by using matlab, so I need to use matlab and TUI code.

Check if the TUI command works in Fluent too.

I can start calculating Fluent from matlab,  so TUI command works in Fluent.

Okay so it throws an error at the end of the run? What does it happen at the end of the run? Are you reporting things?

Best regards, Amine

Errors occurs at the end of the run, and excluding that everything is fine.

I can get report file and the its result is good.

however second calculation doesn't start due to the error.
