Dear all,

our computer is supposed to obtain a license from national license server, however is not doing that. I can't resolve the problem, the authorities claim that they made the license for teaching & research pack available for our computer's IP. Would you be able to help me out? Please find the log from fluent below.

Thank you

Hi Jakub,

I'm not sure what exactly the license feature name that they claim they made it available for you but, at least, they haven't made the aa_t_a (ANSYS Academic Teaching Mechanical and CFD) available to you, which is the only license your preference is pointing to.

On your side, you can try unsetting user preference by

mv ~/.ansys ~/.ansys.old

if you still see -39, your license server admins must make sure their options file is working as intended.
