Is there any way to set first layer thickness for a specific Y+ other than inflation. Wanted to use a face meshing alongside the inflation to keep it quadrilateral but this cant be done.

You can calculate the y value corresponding to the y+ value you would like to have and set your first layer thickness correspondingly. You should be able to specify this first layer thickness from your inflation layer settings. You can do this from the 'Global Settings' as well as 'Local Settings'.

Global Inflation settings:

Local controls:

I hope this helps.

Best Regards,
