Greetings

I am unable to understand these macros. I have consulted many places. Can any one just tell me what are the functions of these. They are the part of film boiling tutorial.

Alloc_Storage_Vars(pDomain,SV_VOF_RG,SV_VOF_G,SV_NULL);

From what is my understanding is that this SV is a pointer in thread storage. But if a pointer has not been allocated yet then Alloc_Storage_Vars can be used to change allocation. Is it right?

Scalar_Reconstruction(pDomain, SV_VOF,-1,SV_VOF_RG,NULL);

Scalar_Derivatives(pDomain,SV_VOF,-1,SV_VOF_G,SV_VOF_RG,

     Vof_Deriv_Accumulate);

I don't know anything about it and cannot assume something from my own.

Any kind of help or clue would be appreciated.

Thank you

They'll be used (somehow) to store data the boiling model(s) need that's not part of the full code.  I'm not going to explain the UDF, but would suggest looking at what functions these macros are used in, and where they're called to understand their purpose.

Required to get gradients. For your film boiling just use Lee model. There no need anymore for that UDF.

Best regards,
