have a mesh problem in packed bed system

I have a problem with mesh in a packed-bed. I try to make inflation around each particle and in the boundary conditions.

But it had poor quality, especially at the contact point regions. Has anyone idea how to mesh this?

To add to Keyur's comment. The problem with point contacts is the sharp angle.  Whilst altering the mesh size can help the best way to resolve this is to avoid the point contact. 

Consider two touching spheres. Create a cylinder with the axis aligned between the centres of the two spheres and a finite diameter. This replaces the point contact with a finite surface which is easier to mesh. Test with two spheres in a volume to see how it works. 

As an aside, if you're not modelling heat transfer you don't need to mesh inside the spheres. Also if you look at the cut plane panel there's a pale blue tetrahedron: click on that to display the full cells on the cut plane as it's usually easier to see what's going on.

as there is sharp angle, the cell may be bad. 

you may need to refine the mesh or coarsen at some locations. 

the best way is modify geometry at the contacts to avoid sharp angle.
