Heat transfer simulation in car condenser

Hi, I'm doing my MSc Automotive engineering.

For my final year thesis, I have to do a heat transfer analysis on a car condenser. So there are two inlets, one for the Air inlet from the atmosphere and fluid inlet through the condenser pipe. I have attached a picture of the model i designed in solidworks 2018. I have not used Ansys Fluent before and hence i am seeking for highly valuable help here. I know the help I'm asking is very big but please any sort of help is highly appreciated. Please help me with a step by step tutorial of how to perform the simulation on Ansys Fluent. I am supposed to do totally four simulations by varying the pipe material. But a tutorial to successfully run one simulation will help me do the others. as for now the pipe material is copper and the fluid flowing inside is a refrigerant named R-134a. But for tutorial purpose, the fluid being as water is sufficient for me. The fluid flows from the top inside the pipe (denoted by red colour) at 60 degree celsius and the air flows through the aluminium fins. so the fluid flow and air flow are perpendicular to each other. The Fluid temperature and the air temperature at the outlet should be obtained from the software results. I currently live in London, UK. If somebody is offering to help me by tutoring me in reality, i am ready to travel anywhere in the UK. Thanks in advance.

Hi, i think this model is not enough for your analysis. There are two way to analysis(i) Analysis liquid and air seperately and (ii) connecting analysis, in this there are two interference (a) Liquid-solid (ii) Solid-air. Unfortunately i dont have tutorials but some videos are available on you tube. Best of luck.

I'd split this into two parts, run the outer model to calculate the HTC and apply that as a profile to the model for the refrigerant side. However, you're not going to have anywhere near enough cell count available to model the whole unit so you'll need to scale down to a much smaller system.
