how to create strainer (crossed wires) like geometry for speaker?

hello sir 

                 for testing purpose of one instrument a strainer like geometry is required as shown below.

 

first i created the .5mm thick cylindrical geometry then draw the vertical and horizontal lines in mid plane and then create the pattern for these lines.

now these extra  portion are not trimming.

file is attached below 

please suggest something.

hello sir,

               i have problem in trimming the extra part which is bulging out in geometry (file is attached in above comments)

Pull command with -ve symbol is not working as it is not recognizing the beam as part.

How to remove that bulging beam which i created through pattern tool.

Without trimming the beams, you can mesh the untrimmed beams. Create a Named Selection to find all nodes at a radius greater than 30 mm then apply a Nodal Displacement and Nodal Rotations to that Named Selection. This is the result.

                     it works but problem is,  actually this type of twelve plate are there which is used for assembly.

This assembly will be used for carrying a object to space.

Modal analyses is required  i trimmed the extra part.

INFORMATION: i used right to left box selection (after trim selection tool) it removed the section inside or touching the box.

After that i share the topology of the assembly to avoid the contact but meshing is not occurring if i am using the external cylindrical part.

file is attached below containing  two simulation with cylindrical rim(unsolved) and without rim(solved)

hello sir 

             today i made a nice strainer (attached below), perform the modal analyses, it shows 

" Data relative to mode 1 is not on MODE file.  *GET command failed."

one is cpaceclaim geometry and other is workbench archive
