How to increase mesh resolution around a flap in 3D Fluid domain using Ansys Workbench

Hi

I am simulating FSI for 3D flap case using ANSYS WORKBENCH.

I want to have a dense mesh around the flap.

How it can be done using 'Fluid Flow' mesh in Workbench?

i think this is hex mesh. 

you will need to split the bodies further so that you can give edge sizing. please see following.

if it is tet mesh then you can use body of influence.

Thank you very much for your kind reply, but what should be done if the body to be selected for 'body of influence' is suppressed in fluent meshing?

 

as i have to mesh around a solid flap and it is suppressed in Fluent meshing

you can create a new body for that which you can use for 'body of influence'.

i think your mesh may be hex mesh, right?

if you are using hex mesh then it would be good to control it using edge sizing.

Yes I have created a surface around a flap (image is attached) but again I cannot increase mesh resolution just around the flap because flap is suppressed.

What I need is a type of mesh using inflation layer so that i have gradual change in mesh around flap i.e more thick around flap and then mesh size gradually increasing away from flap.
