How to perform thermal analysis in space?

Hello, I am new to Ansys and I am attempting to perform some thermal simulations on a spacecraft in space using the Student Version

I am simply attempting to model the incoming radiation from the sun, and the external heat generated within the spacecraft. I’m trying to use Ansys Steady State Thermal or Ansys Fluent. Is this possible using either of these?

Yes, but without more details it's hard to help.  Given there are no fluid regions I'd suspect Mechanical be better suited for this application.

So I already know the total heat generated from the internal components, and I know the amount of incoming radiation from the sun.

I am trying to simulate the temperature and heat flux of the spacecraft over time. What other details do you need?

That's fine for me: you want Mechanical.
