Hi

How can I write partial derivative in CFX pre expressions?. I am not able to find the inbuilt partial derivative functions in the CEL.

Thanks

Thanks for the response.

So if i need velocity derivative w.r.t 'x' will be u.Gradient X (correct me if I am wrong)

So for a particular domain can I write it as, "ave(u.Gradient X)@domain"  in the expressions?

Thanks

Prathik

Refer to Chapter 15.2 CFX Reference Guide. Yes the form is correct. Tipp use the fuction calculator and enable show expression to have the right syntax.
