i am simulating gust velocity to the supersonic inlet , now i need to give gust effect that means alpha 30 degree , how i can give in the ansys fluent, help me guys

Use cartesian components to prescribe the angle of inflow.

actually you are telling that marked only wright , but everything in m only (x,y,z) , how i can give that angle

suppose i am choosing cylindrical one (radial, axial, tangential) , in that three field where i have to give angle (my flow direction is x direction), and moreover what is local cylindrical coordinates

yah thank you for your reply , i am understand , if there is no way for directly we can give the angle ? if no means , x is always cos component ?

and y is always sin component ?

actually my problem is 3d so what about z?

There's not an angle available, you need to supply the vector. Are you modelling half of the domain or the whole 360 rotation? If it's the former think about which of y or z should represent the gust angle.

it is half of the domain , as my my problem i can give z=0 , x= cos 30 , y = sin 30 ?

Not unless the flow comes in from both sides: it's a symmetry plane? Set components in x and z, I'll leave you to check the trigonometry out.
