inlet velocity of a spices as a function of flow_time in transient simulation

I am solving a problem where methane is emitted from a surface and mixing with air. The velocity of emission is such that it varies with time. 

it is constant for first 3600s and then decreases linearly with flow_time from 3600s to 10800s. 

i am using 2019R3 version of fluent and made a curve fit with expression language for Inlet velocity as follows:

0.1475[m/s]-flow_time*0.000013194[m/s^2]

But expression doesn't seem to work as it only reads the 0.1475 [m/s] as the constant value. Can some one please advice me on the syntax or any other method to change the velocity of methane with respect to time in R3. I have also tried reading .txt file that doesn't seem to work as well.

Thank you. I figured it out and I am getting the solution right. But how can I access the R3 manual? I end up getting 18.1 Manual

It is, but reports aren't necessarily available in expressions (yet).  Try Time instead: look in the User's Guide, there's a whole chapter on expressions.

flow_time is a report definition created by fluent itself.
