What is significance of interior and interface in dynamic mesh problem?

Both are same or use for different purpose? kindly clear this.

How to mention/create interface?

Hi,

Interfaces are generally used in a dynamic or sliding mesh simulation. These interfaces act as surfaces where the meshes interact with each other.

'An Interior' surface refers to the continuum fluid regions. As delineated in the Fluent Users guide, the interfaces will have to be interior boundaries during a MRF simulation.

For more details for interfaces, I'd suggest you look through Chapter 10 of the Fluent Users Guide. Here is a snippet of the same.

I hope this helps.

Best Regards,
