Magnetic Disk Brake

Hi,

I'm trying to make a magnetic disk brake with a halbach array of permanent magnets, but I don't think I'm getting the results that I should be expecting (an initial rising peak and then a decay).

I'm just using an Aluminum cylinder and an array of N52 magnets.

I'm using custom magnet material as well. I'm trying to find resulting torque and speed on the disk.

Thanks

Plot B_vector on the surface of magnets to ensure the direction of the magnetization for magnets is correct.

Also for eddy current brakes, mesh is absolutely critical.  Please ensure that you have several layers of mesh in the skin depth of the disk based on speed of rotation.
