Model welding between stainless steel tubes

I am trying to run a steady state heat analysis where I will be measuring the temperature at certain points in my model. I have welding between two stainless steel tube which I have attached below. As you can see, the scale of welding is very small as compared to that of steel tubes and rest of the model (which I did not attach). The welding performed on the prototype is also very good.

Should I just merge the steel tubes as one steel tube or should I try to model the welding with some material somehow. The model will experience temperatures between -15degrees to 400degrees only.

What is your suggestion?

The weld will have very similar conductivity to the steel pipe. I would just merge the faces and eliminate the weld from the model.
