Hi,

I wonder about periodic boundary conditions by using TUI (make-periodic). What is the shadow zone in the case cylindrical tank? I did not see any explanation in tutorials.

Best,

Can you please share a screenshot of where you are trying to apply periodic boundary conditions? Please use the 'Insert Image' option.

Thank you.

Hi

I want to apply the periodic at the sides; however, I have no idea which TUI (Shadow zone) I should put.

just select one of the two does nit matter which one.

I did that; however, I got an error that "Number of elements does not match between zone 14 and 15".

Is that because the geometry has inner and outer domains due to the MRF approach? It might not be clear in the picture but you can see at the center as an impeller.

Then use the non conformal flavor of that. Change the boundary type of both to interface and then under mesh interfaces create a periodic boundary.
