PiezoAndMems ACT extension features are not recognized after reopening the file!

Hi,

I am trying to use PiezoAndMems ACT extension to solve a thermoelectric structural analysis on a deforming contact (contact size changes by both pressure and temperature). I encountered two problems:

1- Every time that I close the file and reopen it again the workbench does not recognize the features I used from the ACT extension! (The ACT extension is set to load as default).

2- Every time I add the voltage to the analysis it cannot be solved and it proposes changing a line in the main code! I have done the same simulation (at least for the thermoelectric part) in the thermal-electric analysis system of Workbench and it works fine!

I would appreciate it if someone could help me with these.

Ayir,

  Is loading your ACT extension every time you open the model working?

  As for the issue with the voltage BC, what is the complete text of the message that proposes changing a line in the main code? Can you post a snapshot?

Hi Sandeep,

I set the ACT extension to "load as default" mode so it is loaded every time I open the model.

Here is one of the errors I got:

 *** ERROR ***                           CP =      39.719   TIME= 16:11:48
 Degree of freedom VOLT at node 14921 is both in MPC contact elements   
 and a slave degree of freedom of coupled set 2, which may cause a      
 problem.  Please replace the command:                                  
  CP,2,VOLT,12421,14921                                                 
 with the command:                                                      
  CE,next,0.0,14921,VOLT,-1.0,12421,VOLT,1.0.                           

The rest of the errors are similar to this one.
