Problem with the boundary condition in Fluent

Hello guys,

Recently, I have studied CFD by using Ansys Fluent software.

I designed a 3D geometry with three pipes with two inlet ports, one outlet port, and three objects of the wall.

In my model, three pipes are separated (they are NOT connected together), so I have to use these walls to guide the fluid.

When simulating, I got a problem with the fluid. It moved in every object (inlets, outlet, and walls).

How can I set up in boundary condition at Fluent with a condition: the fluid move the only inlet and outlet?

Thanks a lot.

Best,

Alex

Hi, kkanade,

Thanks for replying!!!

it looks like fluid entering through inlet is going everywhere in the domain.

make sure that wetted surface has given a named selection in meshing so that you can apply 'wall' boundary condition to it.

make sure that wall has boundary condition set as 'wall'. It should not be interior.
