Question regarding how to model a quasi static simulation in explicit dynamic ANSYS

I understand that u can simulate a quasi static test in explicit dynamic by ANSYS.

If I want to simulate honeycomb core uniaxial compression with quasi static state, what parameter shoud I defined ?

Should I vary the "CFL time step"? or the "staic damping"?

From my understanding the goal is to have the low kinetic energy right? what about contact energy? (FYI: I use the honeycomb extension to create the specimen, so it has bond type join that might cause contact energy. . . I think, im very ignorant about where this contact energy came from)

what about "initial condition"? should I define head (the test machine pressure head) as "velocity" or "displacement"?

Any reply/guidance/tutorial/link regarding my question is highly anticipated.
