System requirements for subsonic aerodynamic analysis

Hi,

I am fairly new to ANSYS although I have acquainted myself with the system requirements to run this software. 

I am currently doing an undergraduate project in airfoil validation and optimization and although I have heard my computer can (with some difficulty) run the simulations, I want to get an opinion from more experienced users.

My laptop is a 16 Gb Ram system with about 500Gb of hard disk space left from 1 Tb and a CPU speed of 2.8 GHz (I've seen it go faster) but no  dedicated GPU

N.B. 

I have run two simulations and although the values are debatable (most likely due to poor mesh quality), they have run without any issues and converge before the stipulated number of iterations is reached (with turbulence modelling activated) I would still like an opinion, however.

the link has recommendations about hardware. 

if you are using student version, please consider problem size as well. there are restrictions on problem size with student version.
