Hi all,

I read this sentence in fluent UDF manual "all variables fluent solver passes and UDF returns are in SI unit". However, I know the default unit of volume reaction rate is kmol/m3.s and the default surface reaction rate is kmol/m2.s . while in my UDF, the calculated volume reaction rate is mol/m3.s and the calculated surface reaction rate is mol/m2.s.

My question is should I divide this value by 1000 to convert the unit by myself or I don't need to do anything and fluent will convert the unit for me automatically.

Best regards

Weiqiang

Please use kmol/m3.s and kmol/m2.s.

Please use fprintf statement to double-check your instructions are being read correctly in Fluent.

Thanks.

Best,

Karthik

Hi Kremella,

Do you mean I have to convert the unit to kmol/m3.s and kmol/m2.s by myself?
