Any ideas on why the menus on workbench and AUTDYN look like this?  I have tried reinstalling the software a few times, both version 18.1 and 18.2, with no improvement.

I am running Windows 10, 64-bit.

Thanks for the help.

The name AUTODYN refers to two things: (1) a program where you can build and review results of an explicit simulation and (2) an explicit solver.

The user interface for AUTODYN is different than the user interface for Mechanical where most structural mechanics models are built. If you pick Static Structural, you will use an implicit solver. One of the systems you can pull into the Project Schematic is Explicit Dynamics. This system allows you to build a dynamics model in the Mechanical interface, but submit it to the AUTODYN explicit solver and review the results in Mechanical.

I hope that clears things up.

I guess I wasn't clear about the problem.  I am not concerned with usage, but the way the menus on the left hand side of the workbench program are being displayed.  I included the AUTODYN window to show that the problem was included across multiple programs.

If you look closely at the picture in the original post, you will see that the menu items are cut-off (vertically compressed) and are tough to read.  Also in AUTODYN, the "plots" menu is compressed in a way that I cannot read the selections within the window.

I have tried to expand the menus and the program window, but the problem scales with any change I make to the size of the windows.

Thanks for the help.

Okay, I see now. Large screen snapshots lose resolution and are hard to read. If you attach the file instead, it retains the full resolution.

Try this remedy to your problem.
