For a research internship, I have to the do the simulation of the duct of a scramjet. The idea is to add some triangle in the duct to reduce the velocity of the flow at certain points to let enough time to the hydrogen to burn.
With our team, we have simulate a a simple cylinder in which we are making some triangle rotating -> see screenshot
For inlet and outlet, I used pressure farfield with an estimation of condition (both farfield have not the same value)
My question is about the viscosity of the fluid, which one do you think is the best and how can I calcul the settings?
also, should i set pressure in operating condition or not?
for now, i used the Reynolds stress because it was the most complete
setting ( inlet P= 9306502 M=3.38 T=1047 outlet P=20620285 M=2.64 T=1333)
(rotation speed = 219 rad.s-1)
Thank you, Olivier.
