Weird stress and deformation difference

As part of a big simulation I was testing some small parts of the simulation.
In this part i inflate a cylinder from the inside with a pressure of 500 Pa then reset geometry the geometry, resulting in stresses which are almost zero. This part is clear and understandable.

If i continue to the next step in which i repeat the inflation with 500 Pa, the simulation seem to give a slightly different solution. Whit a higher spreak in both stress and higher peak stress. The same can be seen for the deformations.

Can someone explain me how this could happen, since both inflations should give the same result right?

Hi Jurjen,

  Have you double checked the units? I am not quite sure what you mean by reset geometry, can you elaborate? Is the mesh the same?

  Have you tried Clear Generated before re-running your analysis?
