What is the difference between ACT and AIM?

I've just started to learn ACT and found some material about AIM. I think the two tech. may be related with each other. Please let me make sure what the difference is.

AIM is a whole new interface for model building and post processing that uses the same solvers as Mechanical.

OK. As I understood, AIM is a new interface for ANSYS solvers and ACT is still working to extend its funtionalities.
