Where can i find PCB model in academic ansys ?

Hello guys, 


currently, I have to do analysis on PCB board so my question is do any of you know where can i find the PCB folder in academic ansys ? 

if not where can i download that folder ? ( please provide the link if possible) cause i tried to draw a simple rectangle shape with the FR4

material in it but my natural frequency was way too low . Please Help ~

Please can you explain exactly what you're trying to model (and why) as it's not clear from the post.

HI, I try to do find deformation, shear and the natural frequency of a printed circuit board ( just the board without any component on it), I have already added in the material of FR4 to the board (basically just a rectangle shape) and realized that my frequency wasn't able to reach the minimum of 200 HZ ( from other researcher journal stated that PCB minimum should be around 200 Hz for natural frequency) do you have any idea why ?

I think that's structural: we also have several tools looking at chip design.

Thank you peter and rwoolhou for the replies, i managed to solve the problem. Just clearing some doubts,

1) For PSD G acceleration, under the tabular data what do I insert? as in for PSD DISPLACEMENT, i use the data from modal to generate PSD displacement but how about PSD G ACCELERATION (refer to the picture)?

2) From some of the journal, they listed as 1G, 2G, 10G, 20G, etc. so my question is: i understood those are input to see the PSD Data but where do I input them? and from their journal, they are using the same frequency to test for different G, but as I insert into the Ansys it doesn't work.

1) You don't seem to know what a PSD is or how to use it in a Random Vibration test. I recommend you read a textbook on Engineering Vibration to learn what a PSD is before you build a simulation model that uses one.

2) What journal are you talking about that had a list of accelerations from 1G to 20G? What does that have to do with your test?

Please provide a lot more information on what you were asked to do with the PCB board test and simulation, I mean really long and very detailed information.
